U.S. version high-speed rail for Nevada and the
Nation.
Our mission is to build a
high-speed rail line from Minden-Carson City, Nevada all the way to
Las Vegas, Nevada through Reno-Sparks, after we have established
service between the actual L.A. Basin and Las Vegas, and have U.S.
version high-speed operating in a
year-and-a-half.
While all-electric trains are undoubtedly a cleaner mode of transportation, electrifying America's vast, privately-owned railroad network would be unimaginably expensive, and a costly annoyance to the owners. The JetTrain was designed to provide U.S. version high-speed (150-180 mph) without the need to do any more than improve track while implementing positive train control.
Nevada Intercity will link northern and southern Nevada together. The improvements we will make to the JetTrain locomotive and its trainsets will extend the range of the trains, their reliability, and longevity. The changes will allow high-speed rail to become widely avaialble nationwide, permitting our American economy and communities across the country to reap the benefits of our efforts.
